We are remodeling – and including new cat-specific spaces!
Excuse our dust! We are remodeling – and we think you will like the changes! Come take a virtual tour!
You may notice a new addition on the left-hand side of this photo of the front of our clinic. What could it be? We will find out in just a few slides!
Our traditional entryway is on the right-hand side of the photo. It leads to our renovated lobby, now dedicated primarily to dogs.
Let’s pop in to the dog lobby first. You will immediately see an expanded waiting area with more seating and more counter access so that you can have more access to our friendly and welcoming office staff. Yes, we used MORE three times in one sentence – because our remodel is all about MORE!
Down the hall to the right of our new reception desk is a new exam room! We now have 3 exam rooms dedicated primarily to dogs. What about cats? Wait for it!
Not let’s go out, around the corner and in the new door that you saw in the first slide. The new door leads to a brand-new lobby dedicated primarily to CATS! If your ‘fraidy feline has been reluctant to visit the veterinarian, bring them to Riverview Animal Clinic where they have a space of their own!
The new cat lobby is spacious with lots of light and tables to put kitty carriers on so that your cat can be off the floor – which makes kitties much happier! We also have cat specific artwork, including artwork by a number of our employees and clients!
The new lobby has also allowed us more space to show off our feline friends looking for a ‘fur’-ever home. Come by and meet a fluffy, friendly ball of fur that wants to be YOUR kitty!
In addition to the new lobby, we have a cat-dedicated exam room with a smaller table, a cat-sized scale for weighing and lots of fluffy towels for your cat to curl up in while we do a gentle physical exam.
And don’t forget our ‘kitty condos’ for boarding! These aren’t new but we like to brag on them. Kitty living space upstairs, kitty toilet downstairs. How decadent! We pride ourselves in providing just what your kitty needs – and in practicing cat friendly medicine.
Now let’s go back out the cat door and see what else we have done. We’ll take the stairs down past the cat door. Notice our new lovely Cougar Crimson railing? Hat’s off to the Dr. Meyers who continues to be a staunch supporter of his alma mater (and the alma mater of Dr. Meyers Sr.), WSU. Go Cougs!
Here is a view from the street of the railing (on the right of the photo) and the place we are headed. See the red door just peeking out from the lower left-hand corner of the building? Let’s go in!
This is our new grooming area! The new grooming, boarding and training area will be managed by our very own Tara Cunningham.
In addition to grooming we have expanded our boarding with these large, airy, light-filled runs.
We also have new outdoor gravel turn out runs so that your dog can enjoy some sunshine.
: AND we have a new grassy area that will be for play and soon for dog training classes taught by Tara Cunningham. More news on that once our remodel is finished.
Finally, let’s go back up to the front of the clinic. In order to accommodate more people, we have expanded our parking! The railway and steps in the center and right of the photo lead down from our upper level parking. And in the right-hand side of the photo, you can see our new handicapped parking space!
That’s it for now! Thanks for taking our tour. We can’t wait to see you and your pets at Riverview Animal Clinic!
